TERESA SCHROEDER
MY STORY
Teresa Schroeder was born and raised in Oklahoma. She has held a love for country life and beauty of the landscape.
She began her art career while in high school and began competing in shows receiving many awards.
Teresa taught art classes at age 17 to thirty plus students.
She went on to study art at the University of Central Oklahoma.
In 2000 Teresa and her family moved to Denver, Colorado and she became involved in the Art Students League of Denver. Meeting fellow artists gave her a solid connection with the art community there.
While at the League for seven years she studied under the tutelage of Kim English, Kevin Weckback, Evelyn Martinez, Robert Spooner and Bruce Gomez.
Her work has been show in various galleries including RL Foster Gallery in Denver, Moore Gallery, Evergreen, CO., Framed Image Gallery, Denver, Co. and Evergreen Fine Art Center, Evergreen, CO.
She is a member of Oil Painters of America. Her work has been excepted in the 2006 "Salon International" as well as in 2007. It is hosted by the International Museum of Contemporary Masters of Fine Art.
She moved back to Tulsa, OK. in 2007 and her painting came to a halt due to health issues.
Now she's back and excited to launch this new web site and share her work. Enjoy.
